In search of a place I belong, I reached harbour in this Italian city which greeted me with open arms. I found an opportunity to study here, and I took it as a chance to start anew. But first I had to make sure I was ready for this big change and that there were no loose ends left untied, before crossing the Drake passage.

Before I left, I asked my closest friends to tell me their stories and share their most valuable lessons, which helped me fill the gaps I had in my own experience with life.

I made peace with my past, because I can’t change it; I’m much more confident as a professional in the field of sound design; I don’t have to excel and be the best in everything, and I am capable of love, even if unable define it. Those have been the four biggest lessons of the first twenty-five years of my life.
